Can we choose the colour of the chippings?
Yes, and on an estate drive it is worth doing. The chipping decides how the finished surface reads against the buildings and the parkland. We will bring samples out so it is a decision made looking at the actual stone.
Do we need consent inside the National Park?
It depends on the site and on what is listed. Resurfacing an existing drive on a like-for-like basis is a very different question from creating a new one or changing its character.
