Surfacing in Horsham
Laymac Ltd covers Horsham and the villages around it. Tell us what needs doing and we will come and look at it.
Horsham is where Laymac is registered, so this is home ground and a site visit here is a short drive rather than a day out.
The town sits on Weald clay, and clay is the single biggest factor in how long a surface lasts around here. It holds water, it swells and shrinks through the year, and it moves whatever is sitting on it. That is why so many local drives crack in the same places every winter and why the same potholes reappear in the same spots on the lanes out towards Barns Green and Southwater.
The fix is almost always drainage and a properly compacted sub-base rather than a thicker layer of tarmac on top.

What people say
In their words, not ours
Farm track had been breaking up for years and we had patched it twice. They dug it out properly, sorted the drainage first and it has been through a winter now without moving.
Yard resurfaced around a working farm. They phased it so we could still get the milk lorry in and out every day, which nobody else quoting for it had even mentioned.
Came out, walked the drive with us and told us it did not need replacing, just dressing. Saved us a lot of money and they still turned up to do the smaller job properly.
