Surfacing in Winchester
Laymac Ltd covers Winchester and the villages around it. Tell us what needs doing and we will come and look at it.
Winchester sits on chalk downland, which is about the best ground you can ask for. It drains, it compacts well and it gives a stable formation, so work built properly here tends to have a long life.
The work divides between large downland arable holdings, with grain stores and yards taking heavy harvest traffic for a few intense weeks a year, and city and village properties where the constraint is access and appearance rather than load. Harvest traffic is worth planning for specifically: a yard that copes for eleven months can still be broken up by three weeks of loaded trailers.

What people say
In their words, not ours
Farm track had been breaking up for years and we had patched it twice. They dug it out properly, sorted the drainage first and it has been through a winter now without moving.
Yard resurfaced around a working farm. They phased it so we could still get the milk lorry in and out every day, which nobody else quoting for it had even mentioned.
Came out, walked the drive with us and told us it did not need replacing, just dressing. Saved us a lot of money and they still turned up to do the smaller job properly.
