Surfacing in Midhurst
Laymac Ltd covers Midhurst and the villages around it. Tell us what needs doing and we will come and look at it.
Midhurst sits in the middle of the South Downs National Park, surrounded by greensand hangers, woodland and some very steep ground. Access is the work here: drives and tracks to properties and holdings well off the lane, often climbing, often through trees.
Two things dominate. Water, which on this ground runs fast and takes the surface with it unless it is cut across and taken away. And tree roots, which lift and crack a bound surface over time, so on a wooded approach an unbound or flexible finish frequently outlasts the tarmac that looks smarter on the day it is laid.

What people say
In their words, not ours
Farm track had been breaking up for years and we had patched it twice. They dug it out properly, sorted the drainage first and it has been through a winter now without moving.
Yard resurfaced around a working farm. They phased it so we could still get the milk lorry in and out every day, which nobody else quoting for it had even mentioned.
Came out, walked the drive with us and told us it did not need replacing, just dressing. Saved us a lot of money and they still turned up to do the smaller job properly.
